I see clients virtually from all over the world, but for in person sessions I work within the Greater Portland area. See the map below to determine if I am in your radius for in-person sessions. If you are uncertain if you are in my travel radius just reach out via our contact form. I also offer virtual training sessions which can also address your dog’s behavioral issues.
Yes, I provide private in-home training to help dogs learn in their familiar environment and
address specific household behaviors. If a dog needs additional support in other environments,
then I can customize training sessions to meet in alternative locations to customize the training
needs of your dog.
Yes, absolutely. I also encourage you to keep using the equipment you are using until you feel
comfortable with the new training methods. I do not teach or promote the use of these training
tools, so I will be helping you find alternative methods of addressing your dog’s behavioral
challenges.
For your dog to succeed it is important to separate dogs that are not getting trained at the time of the training session. It allows that individual dog to focus on the skills being learned and is ultimately less distracted. I am more than happy to train more than 1 dog in a household, but this requires that each dog have their own dedicated training sessions.
Yes, I provide flexible virtual training sessions to accommodate clients who prefer remote learning or are outside our primary service area. These sessions are designed to address your dog’s specific needs effectively, regardless of location.
I will send out an email before our initial session with what to expect and how to prepare. In
general, I will need your dog to be wearing a harness or a flat collar. You will need many treats cut into pea-sized pieces (about 12 oz ). Training is more effective if your dog has had appropriate exercise before the session.
Contact me by filling out the inquiry form and I will get in touch with you.
Clients must provide 72 hours’ notice for services to be eligible for reschedule. If this notice is not provided the session credits are forfeit. This policy can be waived if you are canceling because of illness or if your dog is sick or injured.
